An Introduction to Awareness Centred Listening

There will be a short break halfway through the session.
This experiential and interactive Zoom event will help you to discover how using Awareness Centred Listening can extend your listening skills. In this course we focus on how to provide a safe, compassionate space for listening and on simple ways we can transform communication on a personal and communal level.
This course will include:
• An introduction to the method of Awareness Centred Listening.
• A way of meditation to help us to listen with attention and presence.
• Space in breakout rooms to try out this listening method.
• Time for discussion and questions.

Rosamund Oliver is an international trainer who founded the Awareness Centred Listening method. She teaches Deep Listening Training in Ireland, Germany, Holland, UK and Spain.
Her work includes teaching stress reduction to nurses at hospices, creating a prison meditation project and combining contemplative methodology with listening methods.
