Universal human concerns

We often experience change, uncertainty, loss, choice, connection, purpose, and belonging in life. As a result the universal human concerns of mortality, freedom or its lack, isolation, and meaning, come to the fore shaping how we relate to ourselves, to others, and to the world around us, often influencing our communication in ways that remain hidden or unspoken.

This course invites us to explore these fundamental themes through the living experience of sharing and listening, bringing awareness to how these themes shape our stories, emotions, relationships, hopes, and fears. At the heart of Deep Listening Training is the understanding that listening is a relational practice. As we investigate how these concerns are present within our own lives, we see how they emerge within the listening relationship itself.

This course, held in the spacious and peaceful environment of Dominicanenklooster Huissen, offers time and listening space to deepen ways of mutually exploring these critical and important questions. The authentic communication of Deep Listening reveals new possibilities for connection, understanding, and personal transformation. Through various methods, participants can deepen ways of engaging more directly with these questions. Suitable for those who have previously completed Awareness-Centred Deep Listening courses. The course is given in English.
