The two-day Deep Listening Practice as a follow-on to Deep Listening Essentials. This part of the course is booked separately.
Deep Listening Practice is a follow-on course in Awareness Centred Deep Listening Training (ACDLT®) for those who have completed Deep Listening Essentialsor a similar introductory Deep Listening course. Building on the foundations introduced in Deep Listening Essentials this course enables participants to deepen and integrate the capacities of Embodied Presence, Spacious Awareness, and Compassionate Connection through practice, reflection, and application to real-life listening situations.
New themes are explored, including holding compassion while maintaining safety and boundaries, recognising vulnerability and unmet needs hidden within communication, and developing resilience for the listener. Through experiential exercises, contemplative practice, reflection, and discussion, participants explore integrating Deep Listening into both professional and personal communication.
The course may be taken after Deep Listening Essentials, to consolidate, deepen and extend previous learning. The course is given in English.

Rosamund Oliver is a psychotherapist, meditation teacher, and founder of Awareness Centred Deep Listening Training (ACDLT®).
She developed ACDLT® to support meaningful, compassionate, and effective communication in professional and personal life. She teaches people from all professions and walks of life in courses and dedicated retreats, regarding listening as a form of human connection that can support transformation and healing at all levels.
Originally trained as a UKCP-registered psychotherapist, Rosamund previously worked in both private practice and NHS mental health services. Her approach integrates insights from psychology, neuroscience and contemplative traditions. She co-authored the chapter Deep Listening in the Routledge publication Mindful Communication (2023).

Anja de Kruif is a health scientist, qualitative researcher and certified Deep Listener. Her work explores the significance of listening, stories and lived experience in healthcare, health and everyday life.
